the 7th of january 2009 visited the Dulwich gallery in the Dulwich village
started as the Ernest Cook Trust Ernest grandson of Thomas Cook who founded
the travel agency,donated his collection on his death in 1955 to the NAtional Arts
Collection Fund the largest single donnation ever given throughout England
Two artdealers Noel Desenfans and Francis Bourgeois left their collections to the
Gallery which became the first public art gallery in england built by John Soane
